If you are this far I probably already love you somehow.

I am also either very impressed with your explorations or perhaps even sorry a little bit that all we have currently for an about page is this axioms page.

Not having yet made an adequate about page because we are defining ourselves a bit here, we have at least set down an offering of the notes on some of the basic theoretical and cultural perspectives the Mediating Computer Project is about.

Axioms & Maxims

Since axioms are supposed to be sort of self-evident or granted as true, this accounts for some of the “duh..” quality of these 7 basic concepts. But you can tell I am also straining to get some little details out of these basic ideas.

For the enthusiasts, thinkers, artists, philosophers, scientists, and the mathematically-minded here are some notes which will be updated and refined semi-regularly regarding the ideas the of the Musical Cosmos Theory (lol) and the works of the Meditating Computer Project which is an attempt to construct a fictional world according to axioms after the fashion of an old fiCtional order of knights of some invisible Round table.

Time

Time is always a circle or a cycle.

A Cycle is at least a demonstration of time, not an absolute.

Time as a straight line is probably an anthropomorphic idea of time. Narratives and stories are linear at least in a very simple way that all writing is, even if some renditions are not exactly linear stories.

Place

A Place is humbly regarded as a reference and demonstration of cycles, seasons, or circular time. All places have cycles and are related to other places and the cycles of other things.

Matter

Without matter or place, time has nothing to define it.

Matter is made up of stuff that sticks around.

Matter is cyclic time come to a balance or equilibrium. Cycles become settled in a certain specific arrangement. Energy is a function of how much mass is present and mass is a function of how much energy is brought to a unified form of equilibrium. Matter is the sturdy stuff that you can set your watch on and it defines the cyclic patterns of a place by space and time.

Energy

Energy is the nonphysical portion of physical matter and accounts for the changes that matter goes through in the cycles of time.

Space

Space is defined by matter and energy….

One idea in physics is that space (and time) is the continuum that energy and matter connect through…. All matter and energy define a space and their cycles define time.

Culture

Culture is defined as the language, works and cyclic patterns of the lifeforms, star systems, and galaxies of a specific time and place.

Language

The question of language is not that only some life forms can have it, it is ALWAYS  a question of how much and in what ways a language of a culture has been developed.
